Red Alert status hoisted over Cebu City

A Red Alert status is hoisted over Cebu City in line with the 460th Fiesta Señor and Sinulog Festival 2025 celebration.

The status is based on the recommendation of the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) to place the city on Red Alert effective immediately.

“The directive ensures the readiness and availability of all personnel, resources, and response clusters to address any emergency or incident that may arise during the festivities,” CCDRRMO said.

The Red Alert status will remain in effect from January 18, 2025, during the Solemn Foot Procession, to January 19, 2025, during the Sinulog Festival 2025, or until further notice.
