Over 4 million attend Sinulog festivities in Cebu City

An estimated four million people joined in the celebration of the Sinulog Festival in Cebu City on Sunday, according to the data from the local disaster risk reduction and management office and the police. 

According to a report on " 24 Oras," the joyous crowd caused traffic that led to delays in the performances of the contingents. 

But the whole festivity was orderly and peaceful, the Cebu City Police said. 

Carcar City won the street dancing competition and the ritual showdown Sinulog-based category. 

Mandaue, on the other hand, won best in costume in the Sinulog-based category. 

Bais City won the grand prize in the free interpretation category.
