PCG K9 unit flags P22 million worth of shabu in Catbalogan

The Philippine Coast Guard K9 Force on Monday seized three kilograms of shabu valued at around P22 million in Catbalogan, Samar on Monday.

According to a statement on Tuesday, a PCG K9 Force narcotics detection dog positively indicated the presence of the illegal drugs in a vehicle during a paneling operation in Barangay New Mahayag, along the Western Samar Highway.

The shabu was immediately turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) along with the suspects. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/BM, GMA Integrated News
