Cavite buy-bust yields at least P1M 'shabu'; suspect nabbed

A suspect was arrested and at least P1 million worth of suspected shabu were confiscated in a buy-bust operation conducted by authorities in Bacoor City, Cavite.

The 35-year-old suspect was arrested by operatives of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Unit, according to a report on Sunday by Carlo Mateo on Super Radyo dzBB.

The operatives recovered 200 grams of suspected shabu estimated to be worth at least P1.3 million.

The suspect will face charges of violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Police are conducting an investigation to determine the source of the suspected shabu. —KG, GMA Integrated News
