PHIVOLCS: Weak ash emission observed from Kanlaon volcano crater

A weak ash emission was observed at the summit crater of Kanlaon volcano on Thursday afternoon, the PHIVOLCS reported.

The activity, which occurred at 5:38 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

"This event lasted 102 minutes and generated grayish plumes that rose 600 meters above the crater before drifting southwest as recorded by the IP Cameras in Canlaon City and VKLM Thermal Camera," the agency said.

PHIVOLCS added that Alert Level 3 remans over Kanlaon Volcano. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
