Drug den dismantled, 10 arrested in Batangas buy-bust

Authorities on Sunday dismantled a drug den and arrested 10 drug suspects in Nasugbu, Batangas.

In a statement, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said the suspects were arrested by operatives from the PDEA Batangas Provincial Office, Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group and Nasugbu Municipal Police Station in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lumbangan.

Among the 10 arrested men, four were identified as target-listed drug personalities.

Authorities also seized about 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000, other drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

The drug suspects will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

They were brought to the PDEA Region 4A Custodial Facility in Santa Rosa, Laguna. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/KG, GMA Integrated News
