Ex-traffic enforcer stabbed to death by group of men in Bataan

A former traffic enforcer was stabbed to death by a group of men in Mariveles, Bataan on Thursday evening.

According to Mariz Umali’s report on “24 Oras” on Friday, the widow of the 52-year-old victim was supposed to buy food when some men followed him.

May mga aaligid-aligid daw sa kanya,” she said.

(He went downstairs to buy food. He said that some guys were looking after him.)

The victim’s son, who witnessed the incident, shared that his father had been involved in a heated argument before the murder happened.

(One of my siblings told me that the guys we fought with cursed at our father. So when my father returned home, he went outside again and I followed him to pacify the tension…We eventually had an encounter with the guys…They were stabbing us.)

The son said that they were initially dealing with two guys until more men came into the scene.

(My father also had a knife with him. I brought a melee with me to threaten the guys.)

One of the suspects was already arrested, while the others are still at large.
