NAIA SUV crash victim’s dog stays beside master’s coffin
The pet dog of one of the victims in the fatal car crash at the Ninoy International Airport (NAIA) stayed beside his master’s coffin during his wake in Bulacan.
In Oscar Oida’s Monday report on “24 Oras,” 29-year-old Dearick Faustino was one of the two fatalities after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) crashed into the departure area of NAIA Terminal 1.
His wake is being held in Barangay Abulalas, Hagonoy, Bulacan.
Faustino's family declined to face the media but gave permission to take video footage of the wake.
His pet dog, Blue, was seen sitting on a chair beside Faustino’s coffin and seemed to refuse to leave its side.
Prior to Faustino’s death, Blue was always beside him, even when he was sleeping in his room.
Faustino was at NAIA last Sunday where he was supposed to travel to Dubai for a business trip. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA Integrated News
