In Mandaue City Central School, senior citizens who had difficulty walking did not let their ailment stop them from voting.

Starting at 3:30 a.m., voters have lined up, mostly from the vulnerable sector. There is also a priority lane for seniors, PWDs, and pregnant women.

Electoral boards have also started preparing election paraphernalia in their voting centers. Tight security measures is also implemented in the area. A Police Assistance Desk is set up inside the school and officers patrolling the area.

Guadalupe Elementary School is also where several candidates are expected to vote.

At least 721,469 registered voters in Cebu City are scheduled to vote today, whereas the whole of Cebu has 3.4 million registered voters. It is also the No. 5 vote-rich province in the Philippines. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
