4 wounded in Cotabato City shooting as rival camps clash

Four individuals were wounded in a shooting incident in Barangay Rosario Heights X, Cotabato City on the eve of Election Day, Sunday evening, the Philippine Army's 6th Infantry Division (6ID) said Monday.

Based on the military's report, supporters of United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) and Serbisyong Inklusibo, Alyansang Progresibo (SIAP) political parties had a commotion at around 10:50 p.m.

The commotion led to gunfire, according to the 6ID. The victims included a police corporal.

Pursuit operations are being conducted against perpetrators. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
