Kerwin Espinosa tops polls for Albuera mayor

Kerwin Espinosa leads the polls for Albuera, Leyte mayor, according to partial, unofficial results released late Monday evening.

According to the partial and unofficial results as of 11:14 p.m., Espinosa received a total of 14,469 votes.

He is 5,034 votes away from Vince Rama, who places second in the race with 9,435 votes. Sixto dela Victoria is in third place with 3,589 votes.

Meanwhile, RR Espinosa leads the race for vice-mayor with 13,994 votes.

Manic Barte is the second placer at 8,718 votes, and Liza dela Victoria places third at 4,148 votes.

The Comelec has processed 28,234 votes, or 94.87%, out of 32,251 votes so far. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
