P204M worth of shabu seized in Bulacan hotel —PDEA

A total of 30 kilograms of shabu worth P204 million were seized in a buy-bust operation in a resort and events place hotel in Norzagaray, Bulacan on Thursday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said.
In a statement, PDEA said three suspects were arrested in the entrapment operation including 44-year-old “Jessie,” 36-year-old “Kristina,” and 21-year-old “JB.”
The suspects were nabbed after they sold two kilograms of shabu worth P13.6 million contained inside plastic bags to a poseur-buyer, according to PDEA.
As authorities checked the suspects’ belongings, PDEA said 28 more kilograms of shabu worth P190.4 million were found.
Seized from the suspects were the buy-bust money, one vehicle, one mobile phone, and several identification cards.
The arrested suspects will face complaints for the sale and possession of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“One operation leads to another. We connected the dots by piecing together information and evidence from our previous operations that ultimately led to the arrest of the suspects who happened to be top-level shabu traffickers,” PDEA director general Undersecretary Isagani Nerez said.
“We will use all extracted information to our advantage and continue to operate against drug trafficking syndicates and their underlings. This is in response to the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to shut down illegal drug activities and dismantle the drug networks,” he added.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
