Motorcycle rider run over by truck in Cebu

A motorcycle rider was run over by a dump truck in Barangay Mambaling in Cebu City. 

According to DYSS Super Radyo Cebu’s Guam Logrono on Friday, the 47-year-old male victim was identified as a resident of Laray, San Roque in Talisay City, Cebu.

Investigation by Cebu City Police Office’s traffic enforcement unit showed that the motorcycle was behind the dump truck. The dump truck driver suddenly felt that something hit the rear of his vehicle and realized that he ran over the motorcycle rider. 

The victim was brought to Cebu City Medical Center but was declared on arrival. 

The suspect is now under police custody and will face charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide. –Vince Angelo Ferreras/NB, GMA Integrated News
