Man killed after being sideswiped by bus in Quezon

A man was killed after he was hit by a bus in Atimonan, Quezon on Wednesday evening.

According to a “Saksi” report, initial investigation showed the victim was pushing his cart along a highway in Barangay Angeles when he was hit by the bus at around 9 p.m.

The bus allegedly tried to avoid the victim, which resulted in a collision with an Elf truck.

The truck driver and his passenger were injured, while the passengers of the bus were declared safe.

Meanwhile, the bus driver and conductor fled after the accident.
