18-year-old woman found dead inside septic tank in Ilocos Sur

The body of an 18-year old female college student was found inside a septic tank in Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur. 

According to a report in “24 Oras” on Tuesday, authorities said the 18-year-old victim had some drinks with some friends on Monday evening. 

The next morning, her body was found inside an open septic tank of a house that is under construction. 

Initial investigation showed that the victim could have accidentally fallen into the septic tank.

The victim's friends were also invited for questioning but were allowed to leave after providing their statements. 

Police said they are waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of the woman's death.
