SK prexy in Argao, Cebu shoots man dead in jealous fit

The president of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation in the Municipality of Argao, southern Cebu Province was arrested after shooting to death the boyfriend of a woman he reportedly impregnated. 

According to a GMA Super Radyo Cebu report, the incident happened in Don Gil, Barangay  Poblacion, Argao evening on July 11, 2025.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds on the head and other parts of his body.

According to Police Major Janus Giangan, chief of Argao Police Station, jealous fit was established as the motive of the crime.

It was learned that the woman and her boyfriend have not parted ways, and that the victim accepted the woman despite having been impregnated reportedly by the suspect.

The situation purportedly got the ire of the suspect that led to the shooting. — GMA Regional TV News
