Mother, daughter dead after tricycle hit by ambulance in Camarines Norte

A mother and her daughter died after their tricycle was hit by an ambulance in Labo, Camarines Norte on Wednesday.

According to Emil Sumangil’s report in “Saksi”, the Labo Municipal Police Station said the ambulance was supposed to bring a patient to Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital in Daet when it collided with the tricycle. 

The tricycle was driven by the victims’ husband and father, who were on their way home from school. 

The tricycle overturned due to the impact of the collision. Rescuers and police helped in lifting up the tricycle to rescue the family inside, the report said. 

The mother and daughter were rushed to a hospital but eventually died. 

Meanwhile, the family’s patriarch is in critical condition.
