9-year-old boy mauled by 5 High School students in critical condition

A nine-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was allegedly mauled by five High School students in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte.

According to a “Saksi” report on Monday, the victim’s father said his son, a Grade 3 student, was on his way home when he was beaten up on August 4.

The victim was brought to the hospital after having a fever and experiencing a headache.

Authorities are still determining the motive of the crime.

Meanwhile, all five suspects have coordinated with barangay officials.

According to barangay officials, the victim was merely trying to stop a fight between two kids.

The victim’s father is determined to file a complaint against the suspects.
