9-year-old boy mauled by 5 High School students wakes up from coma

The nine-year-old boy who was allegedly mauled by five High School students in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte has awakened from his coma.

According to a “24 Oras” report on Wednesday, the victim’s father said his son was brought to the hospital on August 4 after experiencing a headache.

Based on police investigation, the victim was on his way home with a neighbor when they were accosted by the waiting suspects.

The victim’s neighbor escaped and was unable to witness the incident.
