Magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolts waters off Surigao del Sur

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit off the waters of Bayabas, Surigao del Sur on Sunday afternoon, PHIVOLCS reported.

State seismologists said the earthquake of tectonic origin occurred at 3:29 p.m. and had a depth of 010 kilometers.

The epicenter is located at 09.25°N, 126.93°E - 077 km N 66° E of Bayabas.

There were no reported aftershocks.
