These transmission lines are the following:

  • Magapit-Camalaniugan 69kV Line

“NGCP has mobilized its line crews and is currently conducting patrols to inspect and assess the impact of the super typhoon to its operations and facilities, and simultaneous restoration activities are being conducted on the areas already accessible,” NGCP said.

“Please note that loss of power may be caused by affected transmission facilities of NGCP or distribution facilities of local distribution utilities or electric cooperatives. Specific cities and municipalities affected by the power interruptions are determined by concerned Distribution Utilities, unless the outage affects the entire franchise area,” it added.

At 8 p.m., PAGASA said four Luzon areas are under Signal No. 4 as Nando continues to move away from the Babuyan Islands.

The storm was observed 85 kilometers west northwest of Calayan, Cagayan, carrying maximum sustained winds of 215km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 265 km/h. It was traveling westward at 20 km/h. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA Integrated News
