Davao del Norte couples exchange vows despite magnitude 7.4 earthquake

Couples in Davao del Norte proceeded with their weddings despite the threat posed by a magnitude 7.4 offshore earthquake that struck Manay, Davao Oriental, on Friday morning.

In Marisol Abdurahman’s report on “24 Oras,” a groom was on his way to the altar when their church wedding in Tailongod, Davao del Norte, was interrupted by the shaking of the ground. 

One of the wedding godparents fainted but recovered later, the video uploader said.

The wedding ceremony still pushed through outside the church.
