GMA Kapuso Foundation to build Kapuso-type school buildings in school in Camarines Sur

The GMA Kapuso Foundation is extending its help to a school in Camarines Sur.

As seen in Vicky Morales' report in "24 Oras" on Monday, Kapuso-type school buildings will be built in Malitbog Elementary School, which was devastated by Typhoon Rolly in 2020 and Typhoon Kristine in 2024.

"Hinati namin sa dalawa 'yung mga classrooms. 'Yung isang klase po, merong laman na 35. 'Yung isa naman, 'yung kalahati, meron din laman na 30. So pinagkasya 'yon doon lahat," school principal France Sernal said.

"Masayang-masaya po kami kasi 'yung matagal na namin hinihiling, magkakaroon na ng kasagutan," Sernal said.

The parents took part in demolishing the old classrooms before the groundbreaking ceremony for the new school buildings, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
