Bolinao, Pangasinan drug bust nets 2 drug suspects, P13.6M in shabu
Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bolinao, Pangasinan on Wednesday that also yielded suspected shabu worth P13.6 million, the Philippine National Police’s Drug Enforcement Group said.
In a statement, the PNP-DEG said the operation was carried out at 6:50 a.m. by its Special Operations Unit 3.
They apprehended a 45-year-old male suspect and a 24-year-old female suspect – both tagged as high value targets – during the buy-bust operation.
Police recovered two kilograms of suspected shabu worth P13.6 million and other non-drug evidence.
The suspects were brought to the Bolinao Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. The recovered narcotics will be turned over to the Pangasinan Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
