Portion of Amulong, Cagayan flood control project collapses

A section of a flood control project in Amulong, Cagayan Province collapsed into the Cagayan River, according to a report on GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita on Monday. 

The portion of the river in Barangay Dugayong was damaged on Sunday. 

According to the television news report, the incident happened following several days of continuous rainfall in the area due to the shear line.
