LOOK: GenSan, CDO Nov. 30 protests urge corruption be addressed
Rallyists who took part in several protest actions in Mindanao on Sunday to commemorate Bonifacio Day demanded accountability for those behind corruption, particularly in flood control projects.
In General Santos City and Cagayan de Oro City, various groups staged peaceful protest rallies, according to reports of GMA Regional TV and shared by One Mindanao on social media.
General Santos City
Among these is the White Sunday or peace rally at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University main campus in General Santos City where participants expressed their stand against corruption and urged the passing of the Anti-Dynasty Law.
Cagayan de Oro City
In Cagayan de Oro City, rallyists gathered at the Amphitheater at Plaza Divisoria and demanded an end to corruption.
The Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro City also organized a prayer rally that was attended by several socio-civic organizations.
