MPV driver dies after crashing into gate post in Sorsogon

The driver of a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) was killed after his vehicle crashed into a gate post in Bulan, Sorsogon.

According to GMA Regional TV’s Cris Zuñiga in Balitanghali on Tuesday, three passengers were also injured in the incident, which occurred in Barangay Somagongsong.

A witness said they heard a loud thud before spotting the wrecked MPV.

The injured passengers were taken to a hospital.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Truck falls into ravine in Quezon

Meanwhile, four people were hurt after a truck plunged into a ravine in Atimonan, Quezon.

Initial investigation showed the truck lost its brakes, prompting three passengers to jump off one by one.

A motorcycle rider was also injured after being hit by the truck.
