5 cops in P14M Porac heist relieved from posts
The five policemen involved in the robbery of P14 million cash from a house in Porac, Pampanga have been temporarily relieved from their posts.
According to the report of GMA Regional TV’s Sendee Salvacio in “24 Oras” on Tuesday, CCTV footage showed that five armed men raided a house in Barangay Santa Cruz on the evening of November 25.
The suspects held the residents at gunpoint and forced them inside a comfort room. They immediately fled after amassing millions of cash.
A concerned citizen reported the incident to the police the following day. Investigation revealed that the suspects are policemen - four assigned to the Angeles City Police and one from the Zambales Provincial Police Office.
“Nag-imbestiga tayo, tuloy-tuloy investigation natin. And based sa investigation natin, may mga evidences na nagli-link sa pulis,” said Police Regional Office 3 director Police Brigadier General Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr.

Sila ‘yung naglagay ng mga involved sa insidente. To give way sa ginawa nating investigation, doon sa possible involvement ng lima kaya natin sila pina-relieve sa post,” said Peñones.
(We received an anonymous letter, that anonymous letter containing, allegedly came from the men and women of Station 2 of the Angeles City Police Station. They were the ones who named those involved in the incident.
