8 dead after multicab falls into ravine in Ayungon, Negros Oriental

Eight persons died after a multicab fell into a ravine in Ayungon, Negros Oriental on Saturday.

In a report in Sunday's 24 Oras Weekend, investigation revealed the vehicle was carrying 20 passengers when it lost its brakes while descending a downhill portion of the mountain highway. 

The vehicle landed on its roof at the foot of the ravine.

Seven passengers are presently in critical condition.

The driver was among the survivors. — GMA Integrated News
