WATCH: Dinagyang Festival 2026 celebrates faith, culture and pride

The Dinagyang Festival 2026 honoring the Sto. Niño kicked off on Sunday morning at several venues in Iloilo City.
Held every fourth Sunday of January, the Dinagyang Festival celebrates the Sto. Niño and the historic pact between the Malay settlers and the indigenous Ati people of Panay in a spirit of faith, culture, and pride.
The Dinagyang Tribes Competition on Sunday at the Ilolilo Freedom Grandstand started at 8 a.m., at the Cor. Luna-Huervana Streets at 9 a.m., and at the Iloilo Sports Complex at 10 a.m.
These will be followed by the Sadsad Sa Calle Real will be at loiilo Freedom Grandstand - Downtown Area at 3 p.m., while the Dinagyang Awarding Ceremony will take place at the loilo Freedom Grandstand at 7 p.m. —RF/GMA Integrated News
