17-year-old girl strangled to death in Lipa City
A 17-year-old woman was strangled to death allegedly by her live-in partner in Lipa City, Batangas.
According to Vonne Aquino’s report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday, the victim was found dead in a grassy area in front of their house on January 22.
The victim’s sister, Elma, said she wanted to rush her to the hospital in the hope that she could still be revived.
Police investigation showed that the victim had asked permission to attend a birthday party but never returned home.
The suspect, identified as the victim’s former live-in partner, had reportedly met with her to provide financial support for their child. Police are looking at jealousy as the possible motive behind the crime, the report said.
