2 kids on motorcycle dead in Bohol road mishap

Two siblings who were on their way to school were killed after their motorcycle crashed into a delivery truck along the national road in Barangay Ilijan Norte in Tubigon, Bohol last Tuesday morning, January 27. 

According to the report of DYSS Super Radyo’s Gabriel Bonjoc on Thursday, the victims, aged 13 and 14 years old, were in a hurry to take their exam and pay their tuition fees. 

The motorcycle was driven by the 14-year-old victim. Both were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident, the report said. 

The victims reportedly overtook the tricycle in front of them before crashing into an incoming delivery truck on the opposite side of the road. 

Both victims were brought to the hospital. The 14-year-old was declared dead on arrival, while the younger sibling died while being treated. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
