Missing cop found dead inside ‘human-made tomb’ in Bulacan

A police officer who had been missing for a week was found dead in Malolos, Bulacan.

According to a report on 24 Oras Weekend on Sunday, the officer’s body was discovered inside a “human-made tomb,” along with his helmet and motorcycle top box.

Authorities said the victim was shot in the nape before being placed in the tomb.

Investigators are still searching for the gunman, who reportedly visited some witnesses and confessed to the crime.

Preliminary findings indicate that the gunman reacted violently to a joke made by the victim. Another police officer allegedly witnessed the killing but did not apprehend the suspect.

Police have now taken into custody the alleged gunman and another suspect who was living near the site where the body was found.
