1-month-old baby found dead inside dad's bag in Cagayan de Oro

A one-month-old baby was found dead inside the bag of its father in Cagayan de Oro City.

According to a “24 Oras” report on Tuesday, the baby’s body was discovered inside the boarding house where the father was renting a room.

Police said the father borrowed the baby from the mother in Misamis Oriental, supposedly to show the baby to his parents.

However, the mother reported the matter to police when she could no longer contact the father.

Authorities arrested the 20-year-old father, who admitted to killing the infant.

The suspect said he was afraid that his parents would find out that he got someone pregnant and that he would be forced to stop his studies.
