2 motorcycle taxi riders hack each other in Davao del Sur
Two motorcycle taxi riders were wounded after they hacked each other in Bansalan, Davao del Sur last Tuesday, February 3.
According to the report of GMA Regional TV’s Rgil Relator on “Saksi” on Thursday, a man in white shirt was caught on CCTV entering the Bansalan Public Bus Terminal.
A motorcycle rider later arrived at the bus terminal. Meanwhile, the man in white shirt stood up and went near the rider to hack him twice.
The rider immediately ran away while the man in white shirt tried to catch him. The latter decided to go inside the public market as seen in the CCTV.
The rider went back to his motorcycle and picked up something. He later went to the man in white shirt inside the public market and hacked him as well.
The police responded to the incident and both men were brought to the hospital.
Authorities found out that both men involved are motorcycle taxi riders.
Initial investigation by the police showed that the two men had an argument before the hacking incident happened.
The authorities are still investigating to find out who should be charged.
“We will simply base our decision on the evidence gathered by our investigator. But possibly, there is a real case here for frustrated murder,” said Davao del Sur Provincial Police Office spokesperson Police Captain Shiela May Pansoy in Filipino. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
