Family rescued after motorcycle falls off bridge in Masbate
A family was rescued after their motorcycle fell off a bridge and into a river in Cataingan, Masbate last Friday.
According to a statement on Sunday from the Philippine National Police, the victims were passing through the bridge connecting Barangat Matubinao and Barangay Osmeña when their motorcycle lost control and fell into the fast-moving waters.
The incident was witnessed by officers of the Cataingan Police, who immediately responded to rescue the stricken family and retrieve the motorcycle.
“Ang kaligtasan ng bawat Pilipino ang laging prayoridad ng ating mga tauhan. Ang mabilis na aksyon na ito ay patunay na handa kaming tumugon sa anumang panganib, kahit sa gitna ng regular na gawain,” shared PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

“Ang kwento ng Masbate ay isang paalala na sa bawat pagsubok, nandiyan ang ating mga kapulisan para sa mamamayan,” he added.
