Ash emission observed at Kanlaon Volcano - PHIVOLCS

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said it monitored ash emission from the Kalaon Volcano on Monday afternoon.

The emission occurred at 1:10 p.m. and lasted three minutes, which “generated grayish plumes that rose from 150 meters above the summit crater before drifting southwest.”

The event was recorded by IP camera at the Kanlaon Volcano Observatory–Canlaon City Observatory.
