P6.8M worth of shabu seized in Lanao del Sur buybust

A buy-bust operation in Lanao del Sur resulted in the seizure of suspected shabu valued at P6.8 million.

According to a statement on Wednesday, authorities conducted the operation at Barangay Pantar in Lumbatan, Lanao del Sur on Tuesday.

Along with the arrest of three suspects, the following were retrieved in the buy-bust:

• 6 knot-tied transparent plastic bags with approximately 1,000 grams of white crystalline substances suspected to be shabu
• 1 genuine P1,000 bill with boodle money
• 1 black sling bag
• 1 motorcycle
• 1 car

The arrested suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
