Authorities arrested 31 individuals, including a 66-year-old woman, in simultaneous raids across two barangays in San Pedro, Laguna.

According to John Consulta’s Thursday report on "24 Oras," the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Special Task Group seized over P200,000 worth of shabu during the operation.

Most buyers reportedly come from outside the area and use the drug in dens located behind residential homes.

Some of the seized shabu were reportedly mixed with "tawas" (alum) to increase volume and profits, the NBI said.

Of those arrested, 28 tested positive for illegal drugs.
