P2M worth of gasoline seized as man nabbed for illegal fuel trading

Police seized over P2 million worth of gasoline following an operation that led to the arrest of a man for illegal fuel trading.

In a statement on Saturday, the Philippine National Police said that an entrapment operation conducted in Ligao City, Albay, on Thursday resulted in the arrest of the establishment owner, along with the seizure of a fuel tanker truck, multiple storage containers, and an estimated 1,000 liters of gasoline.

The suspect will face charges for violating Batas Pambansa Blg. 33, which penalizes illegal trading and distribution of petroleum products.
