Busuanga Airport runway ops resume after aircraft incident

Runway operations at the Busuanga Airport in Palawan are back to normal after an aircraft crash-landed late Thursday morning, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Flight perations were temporarily suspended after an aircraft crash-landed at the end of Runway 08 at approximately 11:34 a.m.

The following flights were diverted due to the temporary unavailability of the airport fire truck:

  • 5J 6035 – Diverted to Clark
  • PR 2664 – Diverted to Mactan
  • PR 2681 – Diverted to Clark
