P22.3M worth of suspected shabu found in Quezon

Authorities recovered P22.3 million worth of suspected shabu in Quezon Province, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Saturday.

The discovery of the suspected illegal drugs was reported to the Patnanungan Municipal Police Station (MPS) by a fisherman, the PNP said, citing information from the Police Regional Office Region 4A.

The alleged drugs were turned over to Quezon Provincial Forensic Unit on Friday afternoon.

PNP said the Patnanungan MPS received a phone call that three plastic bags weighing more or less 3,280 grams of suspected shabu were discovered.

The suspected shabu were estimated to be worth P22,304,000, it added. —KG, GMA News
