Kanlaon Volcano spews ash three times on Easter Sunday
Kanlaon Volcano emitted ash plumes three times on Easter Sunday, Phivolcs said.
In a social media post, the monitoring agency said that the volcano on Negros Island spewed ash in three instances that began at 1:10 p.m., 03:10 p.m., and 05:09 p.m., as observed by the Kanlaon Volcano Observatory-Canlaon City (KVO-CC).

The ash plumes rose in the air reaching heights ranging from 350 meters to 1,200 meters above the summit crater.
Alert Level 2 is still in effect over Kanlaon, which had three moderately explosive eruptions this year: on February 19, February 26, and March 15.
Entry into Kanlaon Volcano’s four-kilometer permanent danger zone (PDZ) is prohibited. — BM, GMA News
