2 dead, 7 hurt in LPG blast in Dasmariñas, Cavite
Two people died while seven others were injured after a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) refilling station inside a residential neighborhood exploded in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Thursday morning.
According to Jamie Santos’ report on “24 Oras,” several houses and vehicles were damaged following the explosion inside a house in Barangay Lawag at 9 a.m.
The identities of the two fatalities are still being determined.
Authorities recovered parts of their remains, which were documented as part of the investigation.
After nearly an hour, the fire was declared out at 9:55 a.m.
One of the damaged houses is owned by Sam Nicdao, who was in Batangas during the time of the incident.
He said the damage made his residence unsafe to be used.
