3 nabbed, 21 rescued from alleged human trafficking in Pampanga KTV

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested three suspects and rescued 21 human trafficking victims during an operation against a KTV bar in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

According to a statement on Tuesday, authorities said they found evidence that women were providing sexual services for money at a KTV bar in Mabiga, Mabalacat.

During the operation, authorities were able to nab the bar owner, floor manager, and the cashier, while 21 human trafficking victims were rescued and assisted by the City Social Development Office of Mabalacat City (CSDO Mabalacat).

The suspects are facing charges for violating the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003. —Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/RF, GMA News
