Toll collection at CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B begins May 5

Motorists using the Manila Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) C5 Link Segment 3B will be charged starting May 5, 2026.

In an advisory, the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) authorized the Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) and its partners, the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), to collect the corresponding fees after the said portion of the toll road was allowed to be used by motorists free of charge for the whole month of April.

The new toll rates are as follows:

Dr. A. Santos Ave. (Sucat) to and from Taguig (C5)

  • Class 1 - P59.00
  • Class 2 - P117.00
  • Class 3 - P176.00

Meanwhile, for those coming from Taguig and going to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote, the toll rates will be P97 for Class 1, P194 for Class 2, and P291 for Class 3 vehicles.

Segment 3B of CAVITEX C5 Link connects the entire 7.7-kilometer CAVITEX C5 Link to and from R1 Expressway (Coastal Road), Dr. A. Santos Avenue (Sucat Road), and C.P. Garcia Avenue (C5 Road).

The new segment has reduced the travel time from Parañaque to Taguig/C5 to around 15 minutes from the usual one to 1.5 hours.

“Since the opening of Segment 3B on March 30, 2026, it has provided free passage to around 9,000 motorists daily,” the TRB said. —Ted Cordero/VBL, GMA News
