Medical waste left strewn on road in New Bataan, Davao de Oro

A dialysis center allegedly left behind its medical waste along a highway in New Bataan, Davao de Oro.

According to a report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday, New Bataan mayor Bianca Cualing-Brua said they are still finding out which healthcare facility left the medical waste strewn on the road.

The medical facility may face several charges for allegedly improperly disposing of medical waste.

The local government unit (LGU) warned that it is dangerous to improperly dispose of medical waste. — JMA, GMA News
