10-wheeler truck catches fire on NLEX

A ten-wheeler truck caught fire on a portion of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Guiguinto, Bulacan.

According to a report in “24 Oras” on Monday, aside from thick flames and smoke, faint explosions were also heard coming from the truck.

The Bureau of Fire Protection immediately responded to the incident. The fire was extinguished past 9 a.m.

The truck driver was safe and no one was reported injured in the incident.

However, the incident caused a slight heavy traffic in the area.
