5-year-old girl dead after being hit by tricycle in Palawan 

A 5-year-old girl died after she was hit by a top-down tricycle in Barangay Panitian in Quezon, Palawan.

According to the report of Super Radyo Palawan’s Jhun Bantaculo on Wednesday, initial police investigation showed that the tricycle driver accidentally hit the girl on the roadside.

Local disaster responders immediately responded to the incident and rushed the young victim to the hospital due to severe injury. But the girl eventually died, the report said.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Quezon Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and filing of charges. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/LDF, GMA News
