Body located from collapsed building in Angeles City on Thursday evening

Another body was located from the rubble of the collapsed building in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City in Pampanga on Thursday evening, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Central Luzon.

The BFP said in a social media post that the body was located at Sector 1 at 9 p.m. on Thursday and "responders are now strategically exerting efforts to retrieve the victim."

"The Unified Command leaves no stone unturned as they continue with the Search, Rescue, Retrieval and clearing operation at the 9-storey collapsed building at Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City," BFP Central Luzon said.

According to the report of Jamie Santos in "Saksi," the owner and contractor is now coordianting with the local government of Angeles City.

Santos reported that responders are now using a jack hammer in the retrieva operations to crush the large sections of concrete. — BAP, GMA News
